Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located and offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms have a quirky charm with some minor issues like a few steps and unique lighting. The service stands out with warm hospitality and attentiveness, though the dining experience is lacking. The location is fantastic for exploring the vibrant downtown, but the dining options may not meet expectations.
I found the hotel to be a cozy spot for a stay in old Montreal. The rooms are small but very comfortable, equipped with all the amenities like robes, slippers, and a Keurig machine. The service was top-notch, reminiscent of having a personal concierge at all times. The location is unbeatable, just a stone's throw away from Crescent Street and many attractions. The dining experience offered typical French fare downstairs, although the portions were small. The facilities were adequate, but the room between the bedroom and shower with a glass window was a design choice I wasn't fond of.
The hotel claims to be 4-star, but the rooms are not well maintained, and I was allocated a normal-sized, dirty room on the third floor. However, the location is great for exploring the city and close to major attractions. The service was friendly and unobtrusive, but there were some issues with the dining experience as the quality was poor. Overall, it's a mixed experience with some drawbacks but also positive aspects worth considering.
